Huge shipping problems

I wanted to order multiple games, from gamefly.com, doing some middle man selling on amazon. I would take orders for video games that I would then buy for a cheaper price and collect a small profit of 3-4 bucks a pop, to earn some extra cash for college text books.

I wanted to have the games shipped directly to the people who bought the games. Gamefly only ships to the address on your account, and to ship to another address, you have to change your entire account address, including the name on the account, so that it would show the name of the person who bought the game on amazon.com. (This is NOT a problem to Me, just setback that can be corrected in 20 seconds)

After changing the address on the account and placing an order to have the game sent there, i would receive a CONFIRMATION email saying, to who, and to where the game would be shipped.

After receiving the confirmation email, change the address on the account and order another game and repeat the process again until all my orders were done. Because I received confirmations about where all the games would be shipped to, i thought i had just discovered a great way to make some cash online. I was wrong...

After a week, I get an email from a customer who bought one of my games, saying that he received 4 games at his address. I immediatly knew game fly screwed up my order, and i would possibly be out of 100 $.

I called gamefly customer service, and politely told them what happened, my games went to the wrong address, even though i received emails confirming the proper address that the games were suppose to ship to... They then told me that just because I received a ORDER CONFIRMATION email, (that confirmed all the details of shipping and the order*) doesn't actually mean the order has been confirmed.?? The customer service agent, told me that the information in the order confirmation email could change if i changed the shipping address, even after the order had been "confirmed".

(Basically, order confirmation emails, were actually not "confirmation" email, and that it just is a suggestion of where your order might possibly go.)

" So whats the point of having a order confirmation email, if it doesn't actually confirm anything?" I asked the customer service agent. To which the customer service agent responded, we are not liable for games being shipped to the wrong address, we just ship games to the last address we see on the account, even if they had already confirmed other indivdual orders. And that some times to save on shipping, they bundle all games into a single package.

No where on the website did it say that order confirmation emails, were actually not "confirmation" email, and just "suggestion emails" of "possible" outcomes..

I spoke to one of the customer service agent managers, who told me the same thing, and didn't offer me help, not even a discount to rebuy the games that "THEY" lost.

So as of September 5, im out of 3 games, and out of profit on two other games that gamefly shipped to my home instead of the proper shipping addresses. I had to remail the games, which took away the small profit I had made from selling.
