Ripoff on $300 rebate on a item i purchased

I purchased a Infocus projector from costco paying over 1 thousand dollars for it. When i had research it on line i found that the model i was planning on purchasing had a three hundred dollar rebate from infocus. Than they wont honor the rebate telling me that the store i bought it from is not eligible for the rebate. What a rip off.
