Aol credit alert
Rip-off Virginia internet

I agreed to use AOL internet services & in doing so I had to give them my Visa debit card for payment. After using AOL for 3 days I was disatisfied with their services so I canceled. This was in September. On December 30 I noticed in my monthly bank statement that AOL had taken 79.99 out of my checking account for a Credit Alert Program.

I never purchased this or have any knowledge of even knowing what this Credit Alert program was about. I have called every number possible that is related to AOL & this type of service & get nothing but the runaround & I'm told that it takes 10 to 15 business days to redeposit my money.

None of the people I've talked to are the least bit sympathetic or understanding about any of this. They simply do not care that because of what they did I am now going to have checks that are going to bounce & no money to cover them as I wasn't expecting to be 79.00 short in my account. This whole ordeal has been a nightmare for me & I hope I never have to deal with AOL again.

I would not use their services if they were the last ISP on the face of the earth.
