I have been a customer of AOL for over 8 years. This year I decided to go with a cable modem service. I have tried three times to stop AOL from drafting $28.90 from my checking account. I have faxed (at their request) all the information needed, my sceen name, address, and checking account information.
I even got a return fax confirmation and then a few days later I received a note stating there was no such account. If there was no such account then why have the taken $86.70 out of my account since I first starting trying to cancel this ghost account.
