I had subscribed to playonline.com for my grandson to play Final Fantasy.in May I called to cancel since he does not play this game anymore. They seemed as if they would cancel, but I received another charge for the game on my credit card in July. When I called, they said they keep your credit card on file "FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE", and that "somehow" it has been reactivated. They finally agreed to cancel, but would not take off the charge, insinuating that somehow I reactivated the use of this game.
I explained to them that in my point of view, this is called "theft", and I would like to speak to a supervisor. My request was refused, stating that a supervisor would not speak to me.
Of course, I called MasterCard, and their fraud department removed the charge, and said they would contact the company to let them know they would not receive payment.
I would advise anyone not to do business with this company, I am sure there are many customers that have been "ripped off" and have failed to complain.
