A recruiter called me and asked me to do a job. I did the job based on the agreement that all I had to do was turn in my timesheet back to the recruiter, and I would get paid. I was supposed to be paid $68 ($17/hr for 4 hours). I did the job, and then the next day she sends me an email with an independent contracting agreement, and says if I don't sign it, I won't get paid. Reported her to the owner of the company, and she didn't address what the recruiter did at all. The owner told me to cross out what I do not agree with and turn it back in. I came on this website, and saw the other complaint, and I will not turn that dam* contract back in for nothing. The recruiter waited until AFTER I did the job to tell me about the contract and send it to me. If the contract was that important, that should have been the first thing sent to me - not instructions on how to do the job, and a fuc* timesheet. Once I started to distrust them, I started to communicate with them via email only. I will not do anymore work for them. I think they may screw me like they did the other person who complained on here. I did not return that contract. You've been warned - do not do any work for these people.
