Don't judge a book by its cover. Customgraphicsandweb appears to be a legitimate business but it is a front for scam artist Benjamin Donley to take upfront money for work he has no intent to complete.
There are numerous reports on the complaint with Ben. I even contacted business on his portfolio and found they too were ripped off or the victim of a scam by Ben of BDProductions.org or Customgraphicsandweb.com
I had an agreement which I paid $1100 up front to Ben to create a website which he agreed would take up to 4-6 weeks. Communication was great before money exchanged hands, but as soon as he received his payment, communication went dead.
Hoping that my dream web project was in the hands of a diligent professional was crushed when I received no responses for weeks even though Ben signed an addendum to his contract which stated communications would be responded to in 24 hours or less.
One June 6th he said, "Hi Mike. Yes, its coming along well. I should have the design and layout for you to approve early next week."
On July 1st he said, "I have already told you I am working on it, and do not have an exact date for you."
Now July 7th I get this, "The agreement only give estimated dates. Not a specific time when it will be complete. I have told you several times I am working on it, and will have it available as soon as I can - but instead of waiting patiently - you decided to file a dispute with Paypal.
Policies are policies, and you agreed to them when you committed to the project, and there is nothing your lawyer will do about it.
If you want the site finished - pay the $400 additional fees for your actions and we will continue moving forward.
Otherwise I am under no obligation what-so-ever to ddo any further work for you at all until that fee is paid. Its part of the contract and you signed it agreeing to those terms."
I have lost all hope and believe he hasn't even started the project.
To confirm this I sent an email from another email address about an inquiry in which Benjamin Donley responded, within minutes with a quote and money request, while he often took a week to respond to someone who already paid him.
This is yet another report of Benjamin Donley of www.CustomGraphicsandWeb.com on this website about a rip-off scam.
Advice from someone on his portfolio!
"I had to have my credit card company go after him for the payment. Luckily I was able to recuperate my 1st install but my credit card company is going after
him as we speak. If you have done business with him it may be a lost cause."
Avoid this scam artist like the plague.
