Having purchased a Best Data 56K modem with a rebate of ten dollars from Office Max and sending in the copy of the original purchase and the coupon from their rebate booklet i thought i would have no problem getting my ten dollar rebate. Wrong, now they sent me a card saying they had to hav a upc symbol cut from the box it came in. Who keeps boxes? The same thing happened with a package of ten jewel boxes, and a Micro webcam, why is it being made so hard for a rebate refund? With the copy of the original cashregister receipt and the rebate cut from the rebate booklet they give you when you make the purchase you would think that would be sufficient. Outrageous and popular ripoff!
