Rip off warranty on dell batteries. Batteries are $299.00 plus shipping!!!
I contacted Dell for a warranty on my battery. I bought the computer on 8/6. Today is June 29. So I have a 1 year warranty right? And I am under warranty. WRONG WRONG WRONG.
They are counting the warranty NOT from the date that I bought it. They are counting the warranty from the day they shipped it to SAMS CLUB.
The computer shipped to SAMS in JUNE. I bought it on 8-6. A DELL SUPERVISOR told me that the warranty begins to tick away from the minute SAMS CLUB got it and NOT when I opened it and started to USE IT.
SO... I asked him, "If the computer hits SAMS CLUB shelves on Jan 1 and I buy it 364 days later on December 31, I get a ONE DAY WARRANTY?
