Cs agent steve badge #gwem5064 worst customer service ever they do not care about their customers

I called customer svc because my power cord for my laptop stopped working and my battery doesn't hold a charge for more then 30-40 minutes. My $1000.00 computer is only a year old. I spoke with Steve, Badge # GWEM5064, he was so beligerent, rude and condescending and told me that I must have charged my computer too much that is why it doesn't hold a charge and power cords go out all the time but that doesn't mean it is defective. I was 1 month out of warranty so I wasn't allowed to speak to a supervisor, people out of warranty have to write to the company, so I asked him to transfer me to Tech Support and he put me on eternal hold, I finally hung up after 20 minutes. I will NEVER buy another Gateway product.
