Aol did not cancel my account and will not refund

My wife and I are a American couple living in Germany, we have been here since Oct On 12 August we contacted AOL to cancel our account since we have a hard time acessing and using the account here, and wanted it closed, it was being billed thru a secondary account we have back in the states, Apparently the CSR gave us a month of "FREE SERVICE" which did not close the account, We have never received a billing statement of any type thru AOL, Again in early 2007 we again contacted AOL to cancel the account, Which they did not do, Again in May of this year we contacted AOL agin to cancel the account and we wanted a refund for each and every month the account was not accessed.

Aol states the account was accessed as of 04 March Which is nonsense as neither my wife or I had the account screenname or password, It was the last time we tried to cancel it, at which time AOL accessed it. We have filed a complaint thru the Better Business Bureau and at this time have the account closed "Hopefully"

AOL thought that 68.40 was fair compensation, Which is what they stated in the 2 reponses they have sent to the BBB, No further compensation is warranted, the exact words. I am writing this after receiving the second response i received from AOL thru the BBB, I have filed a complaint thru the Federal Trade Commission also, I think that one was a waste of typing,

I had requested a log of session activity from AOL, They want a notarized request that states the requst, "which waives any and all rights to claims and compensation I may have as a result of AOL releasing such information"

My question is, Is there a Class Action Suit being started against AOL? My wife and I are both residents of Texas, My next letter will be to the Attorney General. With a copy going to my Congressman and Senator, Any chance of AOL doing the right thing? Any attorneys involved in a Class Action Suit feel free to contact me. Thanks for letting me vent.
