I talked to a sales associate for Dish Network to find out more information about the Wild Blue Satellite internet service. The service was very limited as to how much you can download and upload. The plans had different threshold limits as to how much you can download and upload so I asked the individual (Marta - operator ID = X6M) what would happen after I reached the threshold as she stated to me that my service would drop to the speed of dial up for 24 hours and then it would go back to normal after the 24 hours were up. We got our service installed on May 9 and by May 21 we had gotten close to our limit of 17,000 Mbs downloaded. Over the last 5 days our internet has been creeping at the speed of dial up. I spoke to a representative today (May 26) and he informed me that I will not get the bandwith back until June 10. We pay $79.95 a month for "high speed" that has only lasted us 12 days! We have the highest tier available provided. The salesmen bold faced lied to me and it is not right that I cannot get anything done about it.
