I went to phonenumberscan.com because of an article I read on ezinearticles.com. (http://ezinearticles.com/? Free-Reverse-Cell-Phone-Lookup-Websites&Do-They-Exist? &id=638191) Ezine Articles wrote that there were some reverse look up sites that were legitimate and listed phonenumberscan.com. They said they had a list of the best reverse number look up sites, and that I had to pay a fee to use them. I didn't feel like ezinearticles.com would promote a fraudulent business after reading this article.
I checked it (phonenumberscan.com) out through the link provided on ezinearticles.com and it sounded like exactly what I needed to find a reverse cell phone look up. It was the cheapest site on the list of best phone look up sites from the article on ezinearticles.com. It charged my debit card, but did not give me the information that it made apparent to me that it possessed.
When I typed in my phone number before joining, it stated that the name of the number was "available". After joining, it changed to pending and did not give me a place to access it. It says in the terms that I must go to the "Manage Account Area" of the site to receive the information that I requested; there is no such place available to me. I am also not able to find a member login page. When I click on the link at the bottom that says member login, it takes me to the search page and asks for a phone number to look up.
I have emailed both phonenumberscan.com and ezinearticles.com, with no responses as of yet. I am interested in contacting Visa next to see if I can be reimbursed for being a victim of fraud which is stated that I can do on the back of my card. That is probably another story.
