Don't even bother buying the extended warranty for Sony products. Especially if they are farming it out to ServicePort.com. These creeps wouldn't honor the 3 year warranty I purchased for my Sony Vaio laptop. I tried to file a claim online and they refused to honor it because I had moved and my address had changed.By the time I realized what happened my contract had expired. I suspect that they find any excuse to bounce back requests and make it harder for the consumer to get service. They are banking on the fact that you are too busy to jump through hoops of fire just to identify yourself.in my initial email I had given them my name, my contract number and my email address. This should have been enough right? I paid $100 for the warranty. Lame.
