And I didn't even get kissed!

After spending 2-3 hours on the phone with an HP help desk tech and still not accomplishing anything, I decided to put my fate in the capable hands of the "COMPUTER PARAMEDIC". Big Mistake!

I asked them if they would be able to help me connect a wireless mobile printer and a wireless notebook so that I would be able to use them in my work van. No problem, they said we should be able to look at it this afternoon. Little did I know, that they were literally just going to look at it. Not touch it, or work on it or do anything to it at all, just look at it. And the best part of the deal is that I would give them a $30.00 deposit (which was, as I would find out later, non refundable. That's right, You actually heard me correctly, there are actually thriving businesses in this country where you can charge a fee, not do a single thing, and in the end, keep the entire amount. Think about that for a minute. What genious, You can actually make a living without actually performing any service or benefit to the idiot that gives me the $30.00. Boy did I have it wrong, all these years I thought you had to work to get ahead, yet this guy has found a loop hole.

I went in the next afternoon to inquire about my laptop and printer. It seems, the girl at the counter informed me, that someone LOOKED AT IT (we covered this earlier, remember) but they didn't leave any notes about it. I asked if he could call me this evening when he got back or woke up/sobered up. You guessed it, in keeping with the "No Service Policy" I received NO CALL.

I called the next morning, since I had nothing better to do, and was told that it still was not ready. It seems, the girl at the counter said again, that someone looked at it again but (big surprise) didn't leave any notes. My only consulation at this point was that they didn't demand another payment of $30.00 since they looked at it again. I told them that I was done playing (since I really didn't know the rules or how to play) and would pick up the laptop and printer and, PLEASE don't have that guy look at it again, since I couldn't afford another 30.

I picked up my equipment and then asked to speak to Bill Dickheader, I mean Dickherber the owner. Mr DH came out and in keeping with the "NO CUSTOMER SERVIC THEME" the first thing that he did was point to a sign that said, you guessed it, NO REFUNDS on $30.00 deposits. What a Genious, he not only found a loop hole in the "provide service for money concept" he also has developed a way to speed up the dissatisfied customer exchange.

This guy is a real tool and I hope that my ignorance is a lesson to you not to let this crook succeed in taking another dime of our hard earned money. I am sick and tired of these types of businesses getting away with these types of unethical tactics with little or no consequences. Please avoid doing business with this jerk and his dishonest staff of swindlers. There are many other companies to choose from that are run by hard working, honest people, Please think twice before bringing you computer problems to the "COMPUTER PARAMEDIC and Mr. Dickheader, I mean Dickherber.
