Sept. 2007 I purchased a Toshiba Laptop Computer. It's a Satellite A135-S4527 model. This laptop is registered and on file with Toshiba and has a 1 year limited warranty.
7 months after purchase the CPU fan started humming real bad and needs to be replaced and is covered under the warranty. I called Toshiba's customer service center on April 3rd to have a new CPU fan shipped to me so I can take it into a local computer repair store to have it installed.
When I spoke to the two different customer service reps they refused to honor their warranty and wouldn't send me the replacement fan so I could have it installed.
When both of them refused to help me I asked to speak to a supervisor and both times each rep told me "NO" and then hung up on me.
