Stay Away from Skyway USA... And That's My Final Answer! Louisville

My husband and I live in a rural area.in my line of work, I use the internet on a regular basis. After weeks of looking at our possibilities, we decided to purchase the Skyway USA satellite package. Before the satellite system was installed, we were told that the computer we currently had would not work successfully with the Skyway program, so we purchased a brand new computer. After that purchase, a local installer came to our house and hooked up the modem. He also installed the satellite dish. We were both so excited about our new purchase, even though we had to purchase a new computer too.

Zoom... Our computer was off and running at a terrific speed. However, after about one month of service, we began to have trouble. We were told that Skyway was in the process of changing satellites and that a technician would be out right away to realign our satellite dish.in a few days Skyway sent out a technician (from who knows where) to correct our problem. The technician could not align the dish to provide us with internet service. He contacted Skyway using our phone. He got in touch with Vicki, who told him that it was his fault that the dish was not picking up the signal. After arguing back and forth, the disgruntled technician left. Before leaving, he apologized to my husband, and stated that we were one of several families who were having the same problem with Skyway USA in our local area.

My husband and I both tried numerous times to work with the managers, assistant managers, technicians, and who ever else was in charge. All of them seemed so determined to correct our problem on the phone... But no technician was ever sent to our home. This went on for about 3 months.in the mean time, our account was also charged over $500.00 by mistake.

This mistake caused major problems with our bank account. It took Skyway approximately 3 weeks to correct the problem, and of course we had to correct our bank account and pay for any charges that we incurred because of this problem. Skyway was at fault, but refused to help.

To end this story, that could go on for hours, we do not have and will never have Skyway USA as our internet provider. They are very insuffient and definitely untrustworthy. I deeply regret our purchase from Skyway USA. We currently have all of our equipment " For Sale"... If anyone wants to buy into a scam!
