I placed an order with this merchant in February through their on-line catalog. I was sent an e-mail that my order would be shipped on 2/22/08 and if I did not receive it in two weeks to let them know. I waited over two weeks and sent a follow up e-mail inquiring the status of the order. I then received a one sentence reply that my order "would be shipped that week".
I have not since been able to obtain a response either by phone or e-mail. Yahoo.com was also not willing to help even though they have a portal where you can report "merchant abuse". I had ordered from this merchant once before and was shorted one CD. I reported the missing item and it was quickly replaced. However this time I have nothing to show for the $42 I spent.
I would encourage anyone thinking of placing an order with Buysoundtrax to read some of the other comments posted on yahoo.com regarding their service... Seems like you either love them or hate them. As for me I will spend my money at Amazon.com where I have always received top notch service.
