Below is the same complaint that I sent to the California BBB.
I have used Megagoods before, and contacted them immediatley to notify of the problem. I had actually ordered merchandise for myself and had it sent to myself instead of a customer. It arrived defective, the battery compartment has no contacts for the batteries to touch and therefore will not work.
I was issued RMA # 550MR-61330578. I purchased a return shipping label from the USPS since customers pay to return an item, even when defective. I sent the item back to Megagoods and awaited a replacement or refund. I recieved the package back thru the USPS. It was refused by MegaGoods.
I have sent numerous emails regarding this problem. I was told to resend the package. I informed MegaGoods I have paid for shipping 2x now, and will not pay for it again. If they want the defective merchandise back, they should send a prepaid shipping label. My daughers disappointment, and my disgust with this company can not be resolved.
