I purchased a Gateway notebook through HSN. I started having problems and wanted to return it. I contacted Gateway to return the computer and was told since it was pass thirty days I would have to contact HSN in order to return it. I contacted HSN and was told ok to return computer using the lable provided in shipping. I was not advised to get any tracking infomation through my local postal service. I return computer using lable provided return to warehouse in Millington TN. When I contacted Gateway return department I was told since the return did not come through them they will have no way of tracking the package and they can not provide me with any warehouse information in Millington TN. I would have to contact HSN since the shipping lables are provided by them. I conatacted HSN and they told me the returns are handle by Gateway and they will not be able to refund me my return if gateway don't have tracking information. I told the CSR that you all told me to return it using lable provided you all did not give me any tracking. If Gateway would not return computer and tell me to go back to HSN for return, I contact HSN for process of return and your CSR tell me to put reason for return information inside package and ok to return useing shipping lable provided and this is what I did. Nither company is taking ownership of the problem to locate return I have been getting such a run around... Both companies refuse to give me the return address that was provided by them so I can located return.
