Dispatch Direct originally quoted an all inclusive cost to provide and remotely install dispatching software on my server. After they milked the installation (mostly due to poorly designed software which is full of flaws) they billed me an additional $2,662.50
They estimated labor for installation and configuration time to be four hours. It took them over 30 actual hours, spread over a several week period to install it. They tried to claim a slow network connect, but their programmer was working on so many projects at the same time, it required constant disconnect and reconnecting to my server.
They promised that I would be operational within a couple days. It took over 30 days to work for it to work due to bugs, constant errors and software crashes. Many of the features did not work and required reprogramming. Several features never worked.
They promised reports and easy customization. The few reports that are there do not work. Customization is easy if you are a computer programmer, as it is a early sequel data base design.
They included one year maintenance contract. The maintenance contract does not include actual work/repairs or programming. It is a useless contract that serves no purpose (misleading).
The sales "Ken" told me whatever I wanted to hear in order to make a sale. He is a typical "Sales Slug" with no morals. Of what he stated and emailed, approximately 75% turned out to be lies.
