Academy credit internet advertised that they do credit repair and the fee is $49.95 per month. The credit agencies reports that someone that does not appear to be you (me) has written to dispute certain items on my credit report and they take no action. They further state that nothing that the other agency is doing or that they can do that I can, t do. So nothing happens. I
wished to cancel Academy credit but no phone number or any other type of contact exists. When I called the Bank they have no ph number either and stated that I would either have to open up a new account or could try to put a stop on academy credits payment for $32.00. The last debit was on the 10th so they suggested that I put a stop on this months payment to stop the mar 10th payment. However, academy credit took this months payment on the 4th already so the date. They (Bank) stated that the stop payment must be for the exact amount and for the expected date of debit. If the company
changes the amount i.E.$49.50 or $49.96 the stop payment would, t work.in this case they changed the date. I, ve tried everywhere possible to get a phone number to no avail. Changing my acct would be a last resort and will
affect a lot of valid transactions.
