I was debited a fraudulent $4.95 and a $2.95 charge on my Visa debit card from Coastal Web Solutions. I have never done business with or had any dealings with this company. I called the phone # listed (760) 994-4853 and got a bogus foreign sounding message directing all inquires to an email [email protected]. The web site attached to this provides no actual contact info. I have reported the fraud to my bank, and am in the process of reporting the fraud to the police department, FCC and contacted all three credit reporting agencies (as directed by my bank).
Their fraud game apparently is to debit small amounts hoping to avoid detection and pursuit from Law enforcement. Please be advised to check all your statements in detail. From what I have read others who have had similar problems have linked the issue with having done past business with Equifax and that also applies to me.
