I am a Realtor in California, I got a call from HOUSE.com and after listening to there sales presentation I thought they were reputable. I gave them $2,000.00 for the service of 4 zip codes and not once has my phone rang with something stating house.com this company is as slimey as they get. I hope that you get this message before you sign up like I did.
This is there deal they call you up and tell you that they are selling area codes that are "exclusive" and that no one else will be calling on them but you have to act now. After they got your money and the hype has worn off you try getting in touch with their customer service who should be working in China making fake rolex watches, they are the most rude and uneducated people around. All they do is reroute your website from theres to yours and charge $495.00 per zip and when you complain the person on the other end is as sharp as a marble.
Forget about getting any kind of refund you will just have to wait for the cancellation of 6 months. Besure that you write a cancellation letter because these scum bags will probably try to run your credit card again. You need the letter for your records so that you can dispute the renewal. If you want to get back at them and your in the real estate business. Send an email to your buddies and let them know your story. Hope this helps.
