We went to a Lauro Auction to buy some used liquidated items. At the beginning of the auction we were told all items were inspected and in working condition.
We bid on a 20 Qt. Mixer. Our $600.00 bid won and we took the mixer to our restaurant. When we opened a month later, it was determined the mixer only had one gear. We called Lauro Auction and we were told "too bad" and we should have inspected the mixer before we bought it. I told them the auctioneer said it was in working condition and his reply was that the auctioneer should "never be believed".
I asked for a call back and never recieved it. I sent them an e-mail explaining I would place them on RIP OFF but there was no response.
Do Not Go To Lauro Auction. They Lie about condition of Items. Do Not Use the ONLINE AUCTION. You will be throwing away good money.
