I purchased three 1 GB SD cards from Linkyo Corp (http://www.supermediastore.com) on 11/23 and there was a rebate for purchasing three. The rebate is handled by rebatestatus.com (a.K.A. Continental Promotion Group, Inc.). I noticed that after quite a while rebatestatus.com wasn't even showing hey got my rebate form, so I contacted them and provided all of the information about my rebate along with copies/scans of my completed rebate submission form. After that, my rebate suddenly appeared on the website. It read that my rebate would be expected to be sent out near the end of February (nearly three months/18 weeks instead of 6-8 weeks like normal). Then in February they send me an email saying they had to review my rebate for accuracy and that it wouldn't be ready to go out until the end of April - about 5 months from my original purchase!!! (and that's if they don't give me some nonsense excuse again). From what I've read from others on the internet, this doesn't sound like a unique event. I am supremely interested in forming a class-action suit and if anyone else has had a similar experience with this company, please post here and let me know and also let me know if you'd like to participate in a class-action suit against this company. It's time these rebate companies stop walking all over trusting consumers! It's time we consumers take a stand.
