Unfortunately, my fiance and I were recently scammed by Mari Adams too. I found this website and asked my fiance to get one of the bags for me for Christmas. When the bag arrived, it was laughable how fake it was! We contacted her immediately to get a return authorization number, and sent it back. Of course we never saw our refund.
I found another usacomplaints.com by someone that had the exact same story as us! She gave us a USPS tracking number and it said the package was delivered to our zipcode, but they could clarify the address. She obviously used the postal system to create the perception that the refund was sent. We contacted her and she told us that she did not have a receipt for the money order and we have not heard from her since.
The bottom line is since August there have been 9 compliants filed against her with the Better Business Bureau and we will make 10. I only hope it doesn't take many more before the authorities step in.
