I purchased two "authentic" Louis Vuitton handbags from Mari Adams at AuthenticLVbagsdotcom back in July.
She was all friendly and prompt in returning my e-mails as I asked questions about the bags I was purchasing.
I decided to order the two bags, sent her a Money Order in the amount of $820.00 to some address in Arizona that she told me to sent it to. As the days went by, I started to see some negative talk about this company. Getting cold feet, I decided to contact Ms Adams again and ask for my money back as I knew she hadn't shipped the bags out yet.
She wasn't so prompt in getting back to me when I requested my money back. However, I did get confirmation from my bank that she wasted no time in cashing my money order. When she finally did get back to me, she said that it was no problem, she would send me my money back.
So, again, didn't hear from her and no refund. So, then she finally sent me an e-mail stating that she did indeed mail me my refund money order and sent me a "rma #" as well.
I waited and waited for that money order, called my Post Office and according to them, the item was delivered, however I NEVER received it. Somehow, she used a tracking number that was registered to another item that WAS received to me that day, making it look like I received her refund (that one still baffles me).
Anyway, to make a long story short, she finally stopped communicating with me all together and I still have no refund for my $820.00.
I found out a few things about her so called company, such as she is using a template store, the servers in Canada. Her website registration information for the domain is a P.O. Box in Iowa, yet there is NO corporation by that name on file in the state of Iowa. The phone number she has listed on the registration comes up with nothing and a search on her name as owner, comes up with no one by that name. Her website was established in May of yet in her copyright disclaimer at the bottom of her homepage it says "1999." The blonde woman on the website isn't her. The people on her testimonial page are all bogus. She only accepts payment through a Money Order, Cashiers check or Paypal e-check, all unprotected forms of payment.
Bottom line, STAY AWAY from this site, unless you want a fake Louis Vuitton bag or want to kiss your money good-bye as she doesn't ever send it back to you.
