On the 24th of November I placed an order for a karaoke CD collection. The charge for the collection was $58.87. My mother is a big karoake lover and I was hoping to recieve it for her birthday on the 5th of December. Here it is now the 12th of January and it is not even showing as being shipped. Their store policy says, "On occasion, circumstances will prevent us from processing your order within 24 hours. If there is a circumstance that arises that will cause a delay in processing your order, you will receive notification from our order processing system. If your order will be delayed more than 5 working days, you will be contacted by one of our representatives with options to change or cancel your order."
It has been a lot more than five working days and I have not heard from anybody. The website appears to have a link for "live help", but it is not a link and offers no help at all. There is a contact form that I have filled out and sent in at least twice with no response ever recieved. There are no contact numbers listed for the company.
There is a mailing address listed, I googled the address and came up with BGB Marketing LLC. I did find a contact number for them, but they claimed to be ignorant and said they were just the marketing company for Hitkaraoke.com. I talked to the man who is listed as the VP of Operations for BGB and was told that they had no contact information for Hitkaraoke.com and could be of no help to me.
I am very frustrated at the whole situation and want to keep other people from getting suckered like I did. The website is still up and running, I only wish I had the ability to track down the people who are in charge of it (since BGB claims that they are not) and get my money back!
