I have received monthly charges for a Voice Mail Service from Member's Edge LLC through my home phone bill. I called the phone # listed on my phone bill for ILD Teleservices Inc. Vanessa explained that they were just the third party billing service for Member's Edge LLC but she would put a block on the services but I would need to call Member's Edge LLC concerning the 19.95 monthly fee taxes (billed twice).
When I called Member's Edge LLC the first time I let it ring approx 20 times with no answer, about 20 minutes later called again and finally spoke to Tiffany.tiffany explained that I ordered this Voice Mail Service online through a survey that I completed for a free $100 gift certificate to Target.
I explained to Tiffany that I did not complete any survey, that the survey popped up, but while filling it out it asked for my credit card information and I immediately closed the window. She was quick to tell me she would cancel my service immediately and refund a full credit for monthly charges and taxes, but this process would take 2 - 3 billing cycles.
When I asked who authorized the charges to my phone bill she stated that I did when I filled out the survey. I then asked Tiffany if I had this service and was charged for it when was I going to be notified of this service other than a bill for it, she stated that I should have received an email to that fact of which I never received.
What I don't really understand nor trust is the fact that a company you do business with (my home phone company AT&T), would allow charges to my account without written consent to do so and then state that they cannot remove those fraudulent charges.
Out of this one supposed survey I have since received charges through ILD Teleservices Inc. From 2 other fraudulent companies Nation's 1st Communications, LLC and MyiProducts Imail for the same voice mail service for the same time periods. All three companies have had the same response
