I was sent a box set of the television show Scrubs on DVD's. The packing material was an envelope and the plastic sleeves containing the DVD's were all crushed. Several of the DVD's were not functional and others began or ended in the middle of the show. The quality of the video was extremely poor and the disks would not allow a show to be paused, fast forwarded, rewound or skip chapters. Disks were labeled 1-17 however many disks were duplicates and contained the same material. These disks were obviously bootlegged.
I am still in the process of attempting to get a refund on my purchase. When I notified the company I wanted a refund, I was sent to several different people who all offered to send me more disks rather than a refund and asked me to "make a decision". When I sent in my "decision" (four times) asking for a refund, they stated they would not pay for the return of the items and would not refund my postage. I have continued to demand a full refund stating my objections with their sending me damaged items that were not as advertised (bootlegged) and have had to threaten them with filing a dispute and a fraud alert with my credit card. I have received notice via email that I will be recieving a refund, but will have yet to see it on my credit card statement and will continue forward with my dispute/fraud alert.
