I have never bought a Medicus product and had not heard of the PowerMeter until I saw an ad during a tournament. The ad contained a link, which took me to a Medicus page offering the PowerMeter for only $19.95 with free shipping, risk-free for 60 days. Naturally I assumed the cost of the device was $19.95 with a 60-day money back guarantee.
Not the case, however: my credit card was quickly charged for $99.74!
I contacted customer service and the rep said there was info at the bottom of the page I had visited explaining the full price. I went back to the page, and there was NO such explanation. When I sent the item back I requested a rebate on the cost of shipping it back, but to no avail.
I think Medicus uses sneaky ways to market their overpriced products and I advise caution.
