My daughter rented a Laptop from Rent-a-Canter. Two days after getting it the computer went blank and would not turn back on so had to return being told they no more laptops and had to go all the way across town to get a new one.
Then when her second payment was due she had become sick and was in the was hopital with phomina. Rent-a-center began calling the day after the payment was due they began calling leaving messages 5-6 times and began calling the following day. I called them back and explained she in the hospital and couldn't pay them right
now they began demanding we return the laptop. I explained to them I live an hour and half away and could not return it intil Saturday. They told me that would be fine. The very next day a lady called demanding we return the computer right away and they could not wait intil Saturday. They said if we did not return it they would be able to send someone over the same day to get
it. I explained no one was their and my daughter was in the hospital and they said they had the right to get into the apartment and that the computer anyway.
Now i have drive an hour and half after getting off work go to her apartemnt and put the computer in the office to be picked up. They are very rude and have no understanding. Do not rent from rent-a-center all want is your money.
