Applied for a secret shopper site. Afterwards, offered surplussuplier for a trial. Told them no, not interested. Sales ass. Drones on and sounds as if he has gone on to some other offer, pushing saying how cheap to try, along with shopper offer. Confusion results and you think you are getting something free and you say ok. All this is recorded to cover themselves. I listened and they were told "no, not interested" at the begining. No means no.
As I said, the conversation gets so confusing you think you are agreeing to something else. I spoke with Marissa Solice who said "we record these so when people call back we can prove thier acceptance" indicating this is business as usual, i.E., surpized consumers calling after getting billed. Was refused when asked to talk to someone else. Was told I'd get a call back from the [sic] "refund dept.".
Could not get a refund; was told it didn't apply. I said "then you are refusing a refund?" and she said "no, you're not elligible". She continued to play word games ("not refusing, you're not elligible"). If the request for a refund is not yes, then it must be no; regardless the symantics. Have yet to get a call back, do not expect one. I did cancel; so far has cost me $1.95 plus $29.95 x2, $61.85 total. Never even signed onto site since I didn't no I was a member.
