EFFECTIVE Technical Support Sought... Ripoff

After 4 days and repeated efforts to work closely with tech support persons in India, Pakistan, etc, my technical problem is still not resolved. I kept immaculate and intensice notes on all persons I spoke with, noting names, dates, times, method of correction as instructed by the tech people. While all persons were nice, and not even too much of a language barrier, no one failed to repeat solutions from previous efforts.

Problems with their software kept kicking me offline, and with the help of tech support, the software was deleted, downloaded, deleted, downloaded 4 times, all to no avail.

Today, I called and asked for the most senior tech support person available and was promised a call within the hour. After 5 hours, I called yet again, and spent 45 minutes with a lower level tech person, again to no avail. This person then transferred me to whom I expected to be a high ranking supervisor. I immediately ascertained this person was unaware of the conversation I had just completed, as he was completely unaware of my situation (yes, I had to repeat it ALL, AGAIN, as the person I had just spoken with did NOT record his efforts in the "log" for others to see/read. After spending another 45 minutes on the phone, he inform me he would need to transfer me to his supervisor, and at this point I realized he was NOT a high level supervisor. Yep, you might have guessed already... The call/transfer was dropped.

I have Googled "problems with PeoplePC" and was sickened at what I saw. This MUST constitute WIRE FRAUD, as they bill your credit card account.

PLEASE, if you are a lawyer and are reading this, initiate some sort of investigation which would surely result in an out of court settlement or better yet, allow current customers to be released from their annual contracts at no penalty. I don't believe PPC should be shut down, BUT, I DO believe in holding their feet to the fire and collecting enough names to catch PPC's attention should be a strong enough motivator to deliver on their promises and protect future customers from this same hell I have experienced.
