Seems to enable thievery ripoff

After not receiving merchandise from another company, I attempted several times to resolve it without getting PayPal involved. The first time I contacted PayPal, I was told they would flag the account, ask the person for tracking information, and more than likely refund my money (which I didn't care about the money).

After weeks of not hearing anything back, I called a second time. This person informed me that you only have 45 days to file a claim, and I filed on the 46th day. After discussing with the employee how I felt that it was best to try to resolve this between myself and the company that stole my money, and 45 days isn't that long, I was told that my case would be appealed.

The next day I received an e-mail from PayPal signed by a fictitious person saying that my appeal was rejected, it had been over 45 days and there was nothing they could do to help me. I called and talked to another person to verify what I was told on my second call, and I was told that they could not help me.

After arguing with a brick wall, they agreed to refund my money, (which again I didn't care about) but would do nothing about the company I complained about. I told this person that I would try to order the merchandise again, and if I didn't receive it, I would report it before 45 days. This employee said he strongly advised against it, and that he was making a note that If I tried to order the merchandise again, that they would not help me.

In my strong opinion, that is enabling thievery, plain and simple.
