I ordered a birthday gift for my dad and requested (and paid for) expedited shipping. They completely dropped the bill and didn't ship until several days later. I called to complain and their agent told me I'd get a credit for the shipping and a coupon for the error. A few days later I contacted Red Envelope again and got a different person. They said the previous agent was wrong, that I wouldn't get a full credit, and no coupon. Businesses aren't what they used to be in this country. I don't know how they expect customers to return when they treat them like this. It seems that California must have some laws against deceptive and unfair trade practices. It's not a lot of money and I guess that's why they think they can screw you for it. Can anybody help me out here.
