I responded to a phone call from Crystal Vision in which the representative stated that I could join an electronic club much like Sam's Club for only $49.95 life time fee. I'd receive a coupon for $20.00 to try the club for 30 days. I would have to let the company charge $19.95 to my credit card, but the coupon would offset that.
When I tried to use the coupon on the web site, most items were not available with coupon. I settled for a couple of old CD's, TV commercials just to get my money back, to get something. To my surprise, I was charged $19.70 for the CD's, shipping and handling! The coupon was never activated, so I was out $39.90! Shortly thereafter I was billed $49.95 membership.
Later I was billed three more times for $19.95. When I called I was told it was for CD's I never requested. They said they would refund the three additional $19.95 charges. When I asked how to get out of the club, which grossly misrepresented itself, I was told the fee was non refundable. I asked why anyone would buy merchandise from them when the shipping was more than the value of the items. I was told I didn't have to buy anything else if I didn't want to, but my money was theirs.
I called my credit card company and they are investigating this situation. I expect that all fees will be removed from my card.
