Buy.com Connect 3D Rebate fraude San Jose Califorinia

On Feb 1 I purchased a 1GB Secure Digital Card from Buy.com.
The card was being offered by Connect 3D.
The Buy.com internet site advertised the Card for $30.00 and came with a $30.00 rebate.
I received the card on feb/6 and promptly sent in all of the required information to receive the rebate.
I received an email from Connect 3D on 03/16 stating they have received my rebate claim information, and that it was currently being processed.

It also stated please wait 8-10 weeks for the rebate to be processed and received. There is a number that was provided on the Connect 3D rebate website of (408) 441-4632.

I did not call the number until well past the 10 weeks approximatly 14 weeks and still have neither received an email from Connect 3D, nor has the status been changed on the website.

Calling the number I discovered it has been disconnected and no longer in service. Buy.com being well aware of the rebate scam perpetrated by Connect 3D has supported consumer fraude.

Being aware that it would result in more purchases in which Buy.com would benefit from had continued to advertise products directly from the Buy.com website to make a sale.

In Buy.com's attempt to pass sole liability on to Connect 3D knowing that Connect 3D was going to be purchased by a company outside the United States has attempted to do so by simply stating Buy.com accepts no liabilities for rebates.

Yet they advertise the company that had no intention on fullfilling their promises to the consumers.
It is recommended and will be petitioned for a Class Action to be brought up against both Buy.com and Connect 3D for fraude, and the financial statements of both companies be scrutinized by the court to discover a connection of a partnership in fraudulant activities.
A presumption is set whereas an item being sold for $30.00 at the Buy.com website, also offer's a rebate of $30.00 creates that connection that Buy.com would be benefitting from the sale, and no company would pay another company to sell an item in which no profit would be gained from either party.

And if that be the case any purchases made via Buy.com of Connect 3D products would be an unconscionable contract. Because no one in their right mind would agree to purchase an item in which something that was promised was never intended to have been fullfilled.
The disconnection of the phone shows intent to avoid their commitment via promisary contract.
