I am one of many that fell for the trap of a 2GB Connect 3D SD card advertized on Buy.com for $50 with a $50 rebate. It is 8 months after sending in all the info and no rebate.
Phone calls and emails to connect 3D go unanswered
An email to buy.com resulted in them pleading that they were victims of fraud as Connect 3d has refused to pay them for the rebates and they have started litigation against buy.com to get payments for the rebates. Oh yeah, and they sent me a $10 gift certificate.
The kicker is that the card failed about a month after the email to buy.com and when I asked they replace it they instructed me to contact connect3d. This is AFTER THEY told ME that connect 3d has gone out of business.
So I've filed a complaint with the BBB and here is the contact information the bbb supplied me from the buy.com response. Their response was almost a carbon copy of the email they sent me earlier.

That phone number is to the "buy.com sales hotline". So much for them supplying accurate information.
So feel free to go to www.bbb.org and file your complaint. Perhaps if there are enough of us complaining we will all eventually get our rebates.
