Fraudulent billing after you cancel your account

I cancelled my peoplepc account in march because I switched to DSL with another company. The first thing I did once my DSL was up and running was to call and cancel my peoplepc account. I just noticed today that they have been charging me still. I'm not sure how long, because I can only see the last 3 months of my bank statement, but it looks like they have been charging me for a while, because it has been over a year since I cancelled.

There is no other explanation for this other than fraud. I am 100% sure I cancelled my account, and I did it over the phone. After looking at usacomplaints.com's report on peoplepc, apparently I am not the only one. This seems like a perfect opportunity for some young lawyer to file a multi-million dollar class action lawsuit against peoplepc. I hope someone will heed the call. I know I can't afford to hire a lawyer over about $130. I am going to my bank tommorow to block peoplepc and try to get my bank to credit me back the fraudlent charges, but I suspect they won't want to since they expect you to report fraudlent charges immediately and this has been going on almost a year. It is real easy to not notice a small, fraudlent charge on a long bank statement.

Unfortunately, I like my bank, but I will be forced to close my account with them when they presumably refuse to refund the false charges for the last year... So peoplepc has not only stolen money directly from my bank account, but will force me to switch to a crappier bank.
