I cancelled my dial-up service with PeoplePC in March due to frequent disconnects while online. As an apology the Customer Service Rep. Said I would receive 90 days of free e-mail service and my account was terminated. It has been brought to my attention that for the past 8 months PeoplePC was in fact charging me $1.95/month for e-mail service on a cancelled account! I contacted them today (10/08) and was told they would not refund the charges. Why would I pay for an e-mail account when I receive free e-mail accounts from AOL, YAHOO, and MSN?
PeoplePC has defrauded me of $15.60.
