Payment Services AOL Deceptive Billing and Advertising Practices ripoff deception

There are two instances where I was being ripped off. First, I click on a banner that said "check to see if DSL is in your area" then I received a message back that said "thank you for your order". I didn't intend to purchase DSL, all I wanted to do is to see if it was in my area and then I would think about it.

Second, I got laid off from my job and I decided to cancel AOL because I needed to cut back on expenses. The Customer Service Rep gave me a free month so I stayed on. A month went by and I called to cancell again and the customer service person said the computers were down and she couldn't cancel so she gave me 2 more months free. The When it was approximately 2 weeks before the billing date I went to cancel and the customer service person offer 3 more months free. I decided just to go ahead and cancel.

Two weeks later my bank account is overdrawn by almost $200.00. AOL billed me after I cancelled, once for regular AOL and once for DSL, then I got charged twice for overdrawn fees plus everyday that I was under $0.00 I was charged $5.00. I had one other charge came through which didn't help. How could they keep biling me after I cancelled and what right does the bank have to keep accepting it. I called AOL and they said they can't refund me because I am not a customer anymore.
