Scam Artists ripoff

Yesterday, February 8, My bank account was charged $10.00 by ReservationRewards.com, which Classmates.com is partnered with, Classmates.com gave my bank information to this company, to rip me off a mere $10.00. This doesn't sound like much, does it?

Multiply $10.00 times a "Million paid Customers" according to webloyalty.com's financial report, NOW, doesn't that sound like you could use it in your bank account?

Classmates.com gets a commission from this scam, for example, can you imagine getting 1 or 2 dollars from a million people? For just scamming people looking for friends from High School, who click the wrong POP-UP, thinking that Classmates.com is a reputable company, advertised on MSN?

This does add up blatant thievery, into which anybody curious about their friends from High School could fall into.

Here is Classmates.com's pathetic explanation of it's "Partnership" with this SCAM Company

:Classmates has partnered with Webloyalty and Venture to provide additional program offerings that we feel may be of value to our members. Each of these offerings is completely optional and may include such programs as HomeWorks Plus, Simple Escapes, Travel Values Plus and Reservation Rewards. These offers are presented upon completion of the Classmates Gold membership payment process and appear on their own individual Web pages. Each offering contains specific offer details highlighted in a stand-alone box, which state the length of the free trial offer and the amount of the subscription fee, and provide instructions (including a toll-free number to call) for canceling the membership.in addition, the offer details explain that our partner will automatically bill the credit card used to purchase the member's Classmates Gold membership after the free trial offer expires unless the member cancels.

Directly next to the offer details box, the member is presented with two clickable buttons: One labeled "Yes" and the other labeled "No thanks." In order for any trial offers to be processed, a member is required to enter his or her email address and affirmatively click the "Yes" button. If a member accepts the offer, he or she is sent a Welcome Membership email from the partner within 48 hours of enrollment.

Classmates works very closely with our partners to allow our members to make informed decisions when choosing to participate in these optional programs. Please contact our Member Support Team if we can be of any additional assistance regarding this matter.
