A few years a go I ordered lingerie products from Doxylingerie.com for a surprise trip I had planned for my wife and myself. To make a long story short I did not receive my order for 3 months with no responses to my e-mails.
In January of I received an e-mail that I usually don't open but this time I did. It had a decent sale and I am usually a sucker for giving people a second chance. The website did and still does post every single item as being in stock and ready to ship the same day. The customer service gaurantee state that all messages will have a 24 hour turn around.
There was one gown in particular I wanted to give my wife, and I ordered several other items.in all fairness the items shipped later than expected due to the snowstorm in the midwest. This was not my concern.
I recieved 2 e-mails on separate dates stating that my order had shipped in full. It wasn't until the day my order arrived that I received an e-mail stating that the item that I really wanted did not ship and was being refunded without an option for an alternate.
When I received the package I noticed another item they claimed shipped was not in the package. I contacted the company about an alternative in color in the gown I really wanted and an inquiry into the missing item. A few days went by and no response.
I sent another inquiry as to both items. This time a week went by and no response. I finally contacted Paypal, whom I paid through (thankgoodness). No less than 1 hour after I filed a claim with Paypal did the company contact me offering a refund for the missing item they still claim they sent.
They also informed me instead of switiching colors I have to reorder all over again at full price. With the service these people provide no thank you. I am still awaiting my refund. Note: I did not ask for a refund, I actually wanted the item, but my best guess is they did not want to pay for more shipping.
I am writting this to warn others to stay away from Doxylingerie.com. If you want terrible service and missing items, its the place for you. If not, don't waste your time.
