Ripoff Accepted my order charged my credit card sent NO merchandise

Just the facts. Here's a timeline of my interaction with Doxylingerie.com:

Aug 29 - Placed order, received email from Doxy acknowledging order and stating "We will email you within 48 hours with an approximate ship date for all items on your order." Email clearly states that my item is In Stock and that "In Stock items ship within 24-48hrs".

Aug 30 - Credit card transaction initiated.

Sep 3 - Credit card transaction posts to account.

Sep 4 - No further email received from Doxy, I emailed them to request an estimated ship date. Customer support responds with email stating "your order is going out first thing tomorrow morning (due to the holiday)."

Sep 12 - No item received. I emailed customer support requesting update. No response.

Sep 13 - No item received. I emailed customer support requesting update. No response.

Sep 14 - No item received. I emailed customer support requesting update. No response.

Sep 15 - No item received. I emailed customer support requesting either update, immediate shipment of order, or refund to credit card. No response.

Sep 17 - No item received. I emailed customer support warning them that, if no response by midnight EST Sep 18, I would file a dispute with my credit card company and file a report on usacomplaints.com. Received "Autoresponse" from Doxy stating "Due to the large volume or orders, and order inquiries, that we receive this time of year, it generally takes us 24-48 hours to respond to your email."

Sep 18 - No response.

Sep 19 - No response. I have filed a dispute with my credit card company and am filing ripoff report right now!

Unlike most people who file reports here, I had actually seen this website before I ordered and decided to give Doxylingerie.com a chance because they had good prices and carried an item I really wanted. I had hopes that this company would prove these negative comments to be isolated incidents, but I believe that they lack professionalism and their lack of response combined with acceptance of money borders on theft.

I don't intend to slander anyone with this report; my goal is simply to state my experiences and hopefully steer other would-be customers clear of having to deal with the same hassles.
