Service Department unauthorized replacement of motherboard with inferior unit and never notified ripoff

Originally went to Frys for upgrade of my HP desktop due to overheating.

Sales deptartment recommended watercooling of cpu and graphics card along with new case.

When picking up the finished product I noticed and told the salesrep the plastic W/C tubing exiting the case was crimped but he said it would straighten itself out after I started using the unit.

Guess what? He was wrong and my new? PC was also overheating so back I went with the unit in hand.
Boiled down, the service tech did a poor job so I asked that the water cooling unit be removed etc.

I picked out another case that had fans up front and in back of case, but due lack of knowledge in the tech. Department they installed my original equipment in this case and blocked access for installing a front fan.
Overheating on this one too causing faulty operation of my PC.

I was completly fed up now and had them reinstall my equipment back to my original HP case.

After operating my Pc for a few days I started having problems with its" normal operation, messing me up with errors, shutting down unexpectidly etc:, etc:. And it was real noisy.

At this time I found my original motherboard, an m7470n was missing and I now had an m7330n in its place, this was verified by a HP tech rep.

Back I went to frys, really mad this trip and spoke to the service department manager who checked out my system to verify my accusation. I asked why my original board was missing, and why was I not informed of its replacement, he had no answer.

They allowed me a replacment asus A8n-vm mobo after a long discussion along with an oem windows pro disc and a pc game.

Last and not the least, they had left me with the original cpu fan on the replacemnt mobo and it was screaming at 4550 rpm so I returned for a replacement which they installed at my expense and, at this time a service rep approached me staring hard, and giving me a very dirty look saying out loud to the tech that was waiting on me to put a tamper proof seal on my case cover.

I returned the hard look and as soon as the youg man had installed the tamper proof sticker I tore them off and went on my way.

I reported this incident to Randy Fry in writing but never received a reply.

I am still fuming at the treatment I received from Randy Fry and his employee, but I never reported this episode to any authority. I think its' illegal to switch parts like this without informing the customer. If I had any money I would sue Mr. Fry.
