I looked at my bank account this morning and noticed a charge from AP9*SHOPPINGESSENTIAL FOR $19.95
It took a little investigation on my part, but I figured out that this company had offered me a "1 week trial for $1"
(I had signed up to complete sponsor offers for a free gift card)
After I signed up, I received an e-mail requesting that I activate my account at MyPoints.com (A FREE website to begin with) I looked the site over, and canceled my account there the following day, thinking that I had fullfilled my "shopping essential" obligation... I tried it, didn't like it...
I was ripped off! Shopping essetial took my money, and then "Provided" me with a link to a free website!
Then they took MORE of my money!
My bank said there is nothing they can do to help me! Because i provided my information directly to them.
