In December I ordered two cd's online. One was to start an E-Bay bussiness and the other was to find federal grant.
While filling in all of my information for each I answered NO to all of the extra offers. The only payments I agreed to were as followed: Todaysescape-$1.00, Fastauction-$1.97, and Shoppingessential-$1.00. I called and canceled all services two days later.
To my suprise while checking my bank account a month later there were not only multible charges from these companies but each one had over charged my account and I was charged $35. Each time by my bank.
When I contacted the companies I was assured that it was a mistake and the money would be refunded. Of course it wasn't.
To top things off there were two more charges from companies I never heard of. This time when calling they had no record of any of my information or charges they took.
So far this month there are no charges from any of these companies but in the end I have lost between $400-$500 that I didn't have to begin with.
