BEWARE of a Wan B. Joel that posts on Pennysaver! We emailed each other and spoke several times on the phone. He sent several pictures of an adorable yorkshire terrier, but never sent the puppy itself.
Initially, we moneygram'ed the entire $450, but he lagged, and claimed to be taking care of the paperwork. Second day of not recieving the puppy, he claimed he had a family emergency. We cancelled the moneygram, and told him because of his delay, we'd moneygram $225 first, and the remaining $225 when the puppy was recieved.
He said $225 was not enough to cover the crate and shipping charges, and he neede the money. Because he did not take the full $450 initially, and because we spoke several times on the phone, we decided he was sincere. He also used God and being a Christian as a way to earn our trust.
